Jiselle has grown more confident and motivated since starting piano lessons. She genuinely enjoys the lessons and always looks forward to them. Teacher Jovanna's patient and encouraging approach makes learning both fun and effective. We truly appreciate the warm, supportive, and positive learning environment she provides.

My daughter has been learning piano with Jovanna for four months. Her teaching style is encouraging and patient, and my daughter has already gained confidence and grown her love for music. We're looking forward to seeing how much more she will grow under Jovanna's guidance.

My daughter was previously enrolled in the NAFA School of Young Talent, but after a year, her interest in piano declined. Despite engaging various teachers, her progress remained limited. Following a year-long hiatus, we began lessons with Teacher Jovanna, who successfully rekindled my daughter's interest and enthusiasm for piano learning. It is unfortunate that Teacher Jovanna no longer offers home-based lessons, as her teaching has made a significant and positive impact.

We are incredibly grateful for Teacher Jovanna. She has a rare gift for making lessons engaging and fun, and we've watched our daughter's self-assurance blossom under her guidance. Our daughter has become so passionate and dedicated that she now diligently puts in her daily practice without being asked. She truly looks forward to her lesson every week, and it has been a wonderful experience seeing her develop such a genuine love for music. We couldn't ask for a better mentor.

I switched Ellie over to Teacher Jovanna because I wanted a teacher who places a strong emphasis on proper technique and developing musicality. Teacher Jovanna has far exceeded my expectations and transformed the way Ellie learns the piano and music. What I really appreciate about Teacher Jovanna is her focus on building a strong musical foundation, including: Proper technique, such as finger placement, wrist and arm movement, usage of arm weight, posture; Aural training, encouraging students to actively listen to the sound they produce; Teaching students how to analyse the score before sight-reading; Developing musical expression, not just note accuracy. Beyond that, what truly sets Teacher Jovanna apart is her ability to explain musical concepts in a way that genuinely clicks for young children. She sparks their imagination through imagery, analogies and storytelling. One memorable example was when she told Ellie 'Want to know a secret? C Major and A minor are actually sisters', making the idea of shared key signatures both fun and easy to remember. She doesn't just teach her how to play, but helps her to understand how the music is meant to sound and feel like. With Teacher Jovanna, the music comes alive and Ellie looks forward to lessons with her every week. Teacher Jovanna strikes a wonderful balance between strong technical training and creative, engaging teaching. Thanks to her guidance and genuine care for how a child learns, Ellie is developing both solid technique and a deep musical understanding.

Jovanna has been a wonderful piano teacher for Charlie. She has such a natural way of engaging her and making every lesson fun and interactive. I really appreciate how she constantly adapts her teaching style to keep things fresh — whether it's using flash cards, games, or even getting Charlie to stand up, clap and move around to better understand music theory. It makes learning music feel playful and exciting rather than rigid. Charlie always looks forward to her lessons, and that says a lot!

With Teacher Jo, my young daughters have refound interest in piano. She is patient, gentle and nurturing with them. They enjoy her sense of humour. At the same time, their piano playing has improved!

Ms Jovanna is such a friendly and sincere piano teacher, constantly encouraging me and helping me to play with her creative teaching style. I always look forward to going to Ms Jovanna's piano lessons as she really makes learning the piano very engaging, fun and pleasant. As an active child, she can be quite energetic, but her calm and encouraging approach has helped Emma stay engaged and enjoy her piano lessons. Teacher Jo has also done a wonderful job in cultivating her interest in music while guiding her through the fundamentals, giving her a strong foundation in piano.
