Young beginners are very welcome in our individual piano lessons. For little ones aged 3.5 to 4.5, our Little Stars group class is designed as the perfect first step, and a Music Explorers class for ages 2 to 3 is coming soon. Not sure which fits? Just ask and we will advise!

Yes! We offer a free trial for one-to-one students, subject to availability: a 30-minute lesson followed by a consultation with you. Book one through our registration page and we will confirm the timing with you.

The trial starts with a 30-minute lesson, where the teacher gets to know the student, evaluates their current level, and learns about their needs and goals. A consultation follows, where the teacher talks it through with you. Places are offered after the trial, once we are sure Polaris is the right fit. Either way, you leave with a clear picture of where the student is and the best next step.

Individual lesson fees start from $70 per lesson and vary by the student's grade. The full fee table is on our Programmes page. Siblings enjoy a 5% discount on lesson fees!

The year runs in four terms, each with dedicated lesson weeks followed by a make-up week. Term dates, make-up weeks and studio closures are always up to date on our School Calendar page, straight from the studio's own calendar.

Yes. Our teachers prepare students for ABRSM practical examinations, and for music theory up to Grade 5, and structure lessons to build solid technique and musical understanding well beyond the exam itself.

Yes! Music theory is taught as part of the individual piano lesson, up to Grade 5. This matters because ABRSM asks students to pass Grade 5 Theory before they can enter Grade 6, 7 or 8 exams, so our students are well prepared by the time they reach the higher grades. Theory beyond Grade 5 is not taught within the individual lesson. Group theory classes are coming soon, from beginner through intermediate to advanced, and details will be announced on our programmes page!

Yes! Teacher Oliver teaches one-to-one violin lessons for children, teens and adults, from beginner to Diploma. Violin lessons follow the same structure and the same fee ladder as our piano lessons, from $70 per lesson, and new students can book a free 30-minute trial.

Lesson fees are billed monthly or by the term, whichever suits your family, with invoices sent to you directly. If anything about billing is unclear, just reach out and we will walk you through it.

Redhill (EW18) on the East-West Line is the nearest, about ten minutes' walk from Bukit Merah Central. Tiong Bahru (EW17) is the next stop along and a short bus ride away. Bukit Merah Bus Interchange is right beside the studio, so most families from Queenstown, Telok Blangah, Bukit Purmei, Alexandra and Henderson come by bus. Yes! Bukit Merah Central has HDB car parks a short walk from Block 163, so driving in for a lesson is easy. If it is your first visit, do message us on WhatsApp and we will point you to the most convenient one.
