About Teacher Sarah
Teacher Sarah is a piano educator with a strong foundation in both music education and child development. She shares the same distinguished academic pathway as our founder, Jovanna Yam, having graduated as the Best Graduate of the 2026 Cohort from NAFA (in collaboration with the Royal College of Music), with a Bachelor of Education (Honours) in Instrumental and Vocal Teaching. She also holds a Diploma in Music from LASALLE College of the Arts, and has achieved ABRSM Grade 8 Piano with Distinction and ABRSM Grade 8 Theory with Merit.
Before devoting herself fully to piano teaching, Teacher Sarah spent six years as an Early Intervention Teacher, supporting children with diverse learning needs. That experience shapes every lesson she teaches at Polaris: patient, student-centred, and thoughtfully adapted to each child's pace, personality and way of learning.
